IDA-FL is supported entirely by volunteers who generously donate their time and expertise to our mission. Our Board of Directors, Officers, and Advisory Committee members are all volunteers, just like you. We also receive invaluable expert volunteer support from CatchAFire.org, which connects us with skilled professionals who share their talents with nonprofit organizations.

Our organization’s impact depends on the dedication and talents of volunteers like you. Whether you have an hour a week or a day a month, there’s a meaningful way for you to contribute to our mission.

We’re seeking volunteers for diverse roles that match your skills and interests:

Advocacy & Outreach – Help spread awareness through community events, social media, and grassroots campaigns

Administrative Support – Assist with data entry, membership coordination, and organizational tasks that keep us running smoothly

Event Planning – Organize workshops, fundraisers, and educational programs that strengthen our community

Professional Services – Share your expertise in areas like graphic design, legal guidance, accounting, or communications

Direct Service – Work directly with individuals and families who benefit from our programs

Research & Policy – Support our advocacy efforts through policy analysis and research initiatives

No experience? No problem. We provide training and pair new volunteers with experienced mentors. Every contribution matters, and every volunteer brings unique value to our work.
